What!?!
Who in their right mind would choose to be miserable?
Well it doesn’t quite work that way, so let me elaborate.
My wonderful wife and I have had some struggles with finances. Who hasn’t in this day in age? With a large family, there are many expenses that seem grasp at the money we currently bring into our household. Food, medical bills, school supplies, clothing (I can not believe the clothing these kids go through), and even moving these kids around can weigh in on a pocket-book.(Have you filled a fuel tank on a small bus lately?) So financial talks are not on our hot list of “what’s fun for a night together”. It is something that has just moved to the back burner for us. Money comes in. We pay the bills that are due until there is no money left. We “discuss” about how we are going to pay the rest of the bills. It’s a constant point of contention. Really its one of the few things that we butt heads about because neither of us really knew how to correct the problem. It seems like when we try to earn more money, we just run out of more money. When we sold stuff we had to pay off one bill, there was another one around the corner looking to jump out at us. We just couldn’t catch a break.
So how is this my choice?
Think about it this way. If someone slams a door on your fingers, you can choose to sit and cry about the pain. You can wallow in self-pity, point blame at everyone else for your discomfort, demand that someone pay for your anguish and the rules be changed to ban doors. Or you can decided that it is your responsibility and do something about it yourself. Reach for the doorknob. Open the door, and start the healing process.
So how does that relate to my earlier story about finances?
That was our choice as well. It was our choice to sit back and just believe that this is how life was for us and we just had to struggle through it. It was also our choice to decide that we no longer wanted to live in this never-ending loop of stress. So we chose to make it our responsibility and do something about it. We chose to look for someone or something that could help us get out of where we were at. It was a lot easier to find then we thought.

Financial Fitness Program is what we found to help us take responsibility for our financial future and eliminate our struggles. I’m not going to go into what the program offers, or what it does. You can find that on the link above. I’m going to tell you how it has helped us, and tie it back into why our struggles are our choice.
We have learned things about how money works that are not taught in school. Extremely important things that can free a person from being a slave to their job. It has taught us that money is not the goal, but only a way to turn our resources(like time, effort, knowledge and work ethic) into things that we can use, enjoy, and improve our lives and the lives around us. It has helped us to have more respect for what it takes to be successful in life, while also realizing how simple it is to be successful. Most importantly, The Financial Fitness Program has helped us make the decision to accept responsibility for our finances, open the door for ourselves, and start the healing process. Because our struggles are our choice.

I believe this program is the answer to so many people’s questions about how to ease some of the financial pain in their life. Take a few minutes to check out the link to the Financial Fitness Program, watch the 4 minute video, and really think about what you want out of your life. I am very thankful that we found the Financial Fitness Program and an amazing community of people to support us in our journey. I want to pass that on and help you move toward improving your life.
